"DAS GROSSE BACKEN" MEETS CAKE & BAKE 2024!
We look forward to seeing all the contestants and the winner Moni from the current season of Das große Backen!
Erika: @himmlische_torten
Natural, elaborate and full of details - this is how Erika describes her cakes and pastry creations. The Swiss woman lives on a farm with seven siblings and spends a lot of time with the cows, which is why she is also studying veterinary medicine. She draws inspiration for her cakes from nature and prefers to use her own farm produce.
Isabel: @isabels.rezepte
Isabel comes from a real family of musicians who play music together. But baking is her greatest passion, and she particularly enjoys baking unusual 3D and themed cakes. Isabel is not only incredibly creative, but also has a likeable manner that is immediately infectious.
Isabella: @isabella_dasgrossebacken
Isabella plans her cakes extensively in advance and realises the concepts with great attention to detail. She works as an inspector at the youth welfare office and dances in the Latin team of Hannover96 in her spare time.
Katha: @da_backt_die_katha
Katha bakes every day - 100% gluten-free. Her three children have coeliac disease and are not allowed to eat gluten. She wants to show the world out there that gluten-free is not a sacrifice.
Moni: @moni_dasgrossebacken
Moni loves to design her cakes with great attention to detail and a wide variety of decorating techniques. Of course, this works best in her own baking kitchen. Her second passion is dancing, whether it's modern or hip-hop, she does it all.
Sabine: @sazooomfood
Why Sabine likes to bake is actually quite simple - because she likes to eat cake. She has actually always baked. But it really started about 10 years ago. Since then, she has baked everything she can get her hands on, from sourdough to macarons.
Sandra: @cake.and.kiss
Colourful, creative and cheerful on the outside, varied and not too sweet on the inside - that's how Sandra describes her baking style. She loves baking for and with her two daughters, who are now also enthusiastic little hobby bakers.
Thomas: @thomas.franchitti
Thomas likes to bake pastries, tarts and cream puffs. He likes it small and delicate but has immersed himself in the world of motif/3D cakes for Das Grosse Backen.
Theodor: @theostortenchaos
As a self-confessed family man, Theodor's children were the ones who made him discover his love of themed cakes. Every year, cakes are created that are designed with great creativity and attention to detail and always reflect the wishes and personalities of the recipients.
Tom: @torten.by.tom
Tom bakes according to the motto: "Just do it" & is inspired by spontaneous ideas. In his free time, the teacher training student competes in the 400m hurdles and is involved in the volunteer fire brigade in his home village.
It was another great show and an exciting finale!
We look forward to seeing you!
