How our website meets accessibility requirements

Status of compatibility with the requirements

Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the usual way, without particular difficulty and generally without assistance.

Our website is largely compatible with the BFSG and the BFSGV. However, there are still some barriers on our pages that we are actively working on and want to remove in the future. The following exceptions and incompatibilities exist:

The following contents are not barrier-free as they are not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • There are links without link text on all pages. The links on all pages have no link text. | WCAG: 4.1.2
Some of these are images that are used as link elements. If we can adapt this, we will implement it continuously.
  • On some pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
    | The reason for this is the CI and branding of the website.
  • There are ‘iframe’ elements without labeling on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On several pages, the language stored in HTML does not match the page language. | WCAG: 3.1.1
  • There are form fields without labels on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the form fields is more difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2
Since for usability reasons, form navigation is otherwise made more difficult when using the pages without a screen reader.
  • There are buttons without labels on one page. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • There are interactive elements on several pages whose names are not part of the labeling. This makes it difficult to control the website using voice control. | WCAG: 2.5.3
  • | WCAG:

The following contents are not barrier-free, as they represent a disproportionate burden in accordance with Section 12a (6) BGG:

  • There are invalid aria attribute values on individual pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not displayed correctly. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On individual pages, links cannot be distinguished from the surrounding text. | WCAG: 1.4.1
