CAKE & BAKE starts: Exciting supporting program and workshops with international cake scene

On 22 and 23 March 2025, CAKE & BAKE will once again attract all baking enthusiasts to Hall 3 of Dortmund’s exhibition halls with an exciting program. From creative workshops and exciting stage performances to Germany’s biggest cake competition, the trade fair promises to be an unmissable event for professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Dortmund, 18.03.2025 – Parallel to Europe’s largest creative trade fair CREATIVA, Germany’s largest trade fair for cake design, CAKE & BAKE, will inspire both professional and amateur bakers on the trade fair weekend from March 22 to 23, 2025. The cake fair offers the perfect platform for exchanging creative ideas. This year, there will once again be an exciting supporting program, the popular cake competition and numerous TV faces.

Large and international variety of exhibitors

Away from the CAKE & BAKE Stage, the colorful variety of international exhibitors from England, Hungary, Italy and six other countries offers just about everything you need. From sophisticated utensils for cake design and the latest products to clever baking accessories and kitchen machines, everything can be found at the cake fair. New this year is the Cookiecutterfabrik. It offers a unique shopping experience. With entertaining events, the stand will be the biggest community get-together. The International SugarArt Collaboration – under the direction of Tortenkünstler Deutschland e.V. – is presenting an exhibition on the theme of Beach Time. Over 30 international cake artists have created impressive showpieces for this.

Ross Antony: The surprise guest at CAKE & BAKE

On Sunday, Ross Antony will provide an absolute highlight at CAKE & BAKE. From 1 pm, the popular entertainer will be at the Super Streusel stand for a meet & greet. Fans can not only get an autograph and a photo, but also discover Ross’ exclusive sprinkle creations. In addition to Ross’ products, new sprinkle variations and creative drips can be found at Super Streusel.

Stage highlights and well-known personalities on the CAKE & BAKE Stage

A varied program awaits visitors on the CAKE & BAKE Stage: Content creator Carlo Sommer, better known as CasaCarlo with an impressive Instagram community of 500,000 followers, will provide entertainment while decorating on Saturday. Bettina Schliephake-Burchhardt will be demonstrating her extraordinary skills live on stage. She can also be visited at her stand on both days. The popular TV presenter Madita van Hülsen will open the supporting program on both weekend days. The stars of Das große Backen will also be there: season 2024 winner Patrik Schäfer will be on site with all 9 other participants, as will Raheem Haidar, who won the competition in 2022. On Sunday, reality TV star Julian F.M. Stoeckel and singers Eva Jacob and Stefanie Simon will go one better with “Glamor and Glitter”. Actress and current audience favorite on “Das große Promibacken”, Manuela Wisbeck, will also appear as a special guest. She will be presenting her churros cookies on stage on Sunday. Top-class baking professionals will also be showing their

Skills: Roger Hassler will delight visitors with fascinating airbrush techniques, Robert Haynes will conjure up botanical sugar creations, while Marianne Daubner and Anita Willems will masterfully showcase the art of sugar pulling. The CAKE & BAKE Stage will be the central meeting point for the supporting program.

Germany’s biggest cake competition

Over 160 impressive showpieces will be on display at Germany’s largest cake competition. From creative masterpieces to the finest craftsmanship: the works will be judged by the renowned Tortenkünstler Deutschland e.V. jury. The award ceremony traditionally takes place on Sunday at the end of the fair.

Numerous workshops and hands-on activities for every skill level

CAKE & BAKE 2025 is particularly popular with people who want to develop their cake decorating and modeling skills. Fractal Colours offers courses to learn how to creatively design cookies. The participants in the 2024 season of “Das große Backen” will also be offering exciting courses. New this year is the Saracino Factory from exhibitor Saracino. Here, visitors can learn how to model and design Easter figures at various stations. The popular CAKE Academy by Saracino also offers a variety of courses by national and international artists from the cake decorating scene. Those who want to refine their skills will also have the opportunity to do so in the numerous workshops by international artists such as KristinaRado and Ludmilla Gruslak.
