Dortmund, February 2, 2026 – Attention all Swifties: This year, the Swiftie Area by Silvia Mancini will celebrate its premiere at the trade fair. In an entire area dedicated to Taylor Swift, Italian cake artist Silvia Mancini will showcase her extraordinary artistry and sculpt the pop star in miniature with impressive attention to detail. True Swifties will also have the opportunity to design their own popular fan bracelets and swap them with each other. The experience will be rounded off by a selfie spot where unforgettable souvenir photos can be taken. On Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m., there will also be a Taylor Swift flash mob at the Cookiecutterfabrik exhibitor’s stand.
International SugarArt Collaboration: Royal Tea Time
The International SugarArt Collaboration is an art project that brings together extraordinary works of art made from sugar. This year, the creations are united under the central theme of “Royal Tea Time.” Around 48 sugar artists from 15 countries — including Bulgaria, Hungary, and Ireland — present their individual interpretations of a royal tea time. Under the artistic direction of Doreen Zilske, a multi-award-winning cake artist, a multifaceted exhibition of the highest craftsmanship is being created. Each artist displays their own unique style, technique, and creative vision.
“Royal Tea Time” is an experiential space staged as a royal tea room. In an opulent setting inspired by Victorian style, painting and sugar craft merge in a unique way to create an impressive atmosphere. The centerpiece of the experience room is the generously laid table. An opulent sweet table presents artistic cakes, fine mini tartlets, exquisite pastries, and many other sweet treasures. This year’s International SugarArt Collaboration, themed “Royal Tea Time,” is not only a tribute to the traditional tea culture, but also an impressive visual eye-catcher at CAKE & BAKE 2026. A special highlight will be announced shortly.
