Realistic portrait

In this workshop you will learn how to model a realistic portrait by modeling chocolate over a dummy structure. You will be guided throughout the course to understand how to construct the human face, taking facial anatomy and proportions into account.

You will learn how to paint the bust using cocoa butter as a medium so that it looks like real skin. Marta gives you information on how to make your own modeling chocolate and color it using readily available materials.

Finally, the dress and decorations are added using a special mixture of modeling chocolate and fondant. This mixture is very useful not only for the bust but also for all kinds of cake decorating projects.
